Fifth Wheel Hitch

Looking to upgrade my fifth wheel hitch. When we bought the trailer they gave us a hitch in the deal. It is a pro series 15k non slider sitting on bed rails. Looking at the Patriot slider unit vs a Curt Q series slider. They say both will fit on standard rails. Right now the the Curt Q24 is on sale cheaper than the 20k. looks like a lot of hitch for the money. What are some of you guys running with and how do you like it. The pro series just has to much play for my liking. Just a weekend warrior right now but want to make a good decision on this. Thanks for your input.

I have the Curt Q24 and it is a great hitch. I pull a 34 ft. 9 in. Chappy that weights 1400 + loaded. It is very good quality.

Same as when I bought my 24K B&W companion. There is not as many people asking for them, and someone had one on the shelf that they were sick of looking at, my 24K was less than the RV hitch shop said their wholesale cost was! My Trilogy has a 21K pinbox on it, but for the price, I could not pass up the 24K hitch. With a 9K truck weight and a 30,000 lb GCVWR, I just feel better with the bigger hitch.
