Nice truck! You can take the plastic slip covers off the sofa now grandma. Just kidding, couldn't resist when I saw the picture. Hope you enjoy the new ride. Considering a new Ram 3500 in my future.

I believe it was originally called the Black Appearance Package (probably depending on location), but the side badges weren’t blacked out. Now it’s called the Sport Appearance Package or Group.

Any questions on the Ram let me know, I peruse another forum all the time and have done a TON of research. One of the best “mods” I did was reprogram the TPMS so I don’t have to keep the rear tires at 80 psi when empty. They haven’t cracked the ‘18s for that yet. Dealers dont even have the ability to reprogram trucks anymore with their latest programmer software

Been a car guy all my life and keep up with all the lates and greatest on trucks. I special ordered this one after researching and looking at all the options. First black top I looked at was 2015 and even badges then where blacked out if black top addition was ordered. I think they changes the package name soon after. Later RJD

Let me know if you hear any updates about the 18's. For now I just clear the warning every time I start the truck up. It's still better than needing a kidney belt to drive it.

Ann will be happy with the drop steps

Truck really looks sharp. I especially like the seat covers.
