Finally ordered my toad parts

Ordered everything to make my 2013 explorer towable. got the Roadmaster baseplate, light kit with diodes and umbilical cord.

Picked up the tow bar (Roadmaster Stowmaster 5000) and brake system (VIP Tow><Brake) a few years ago. found it on craigslist for $300. used once for 1k miles and never used again. couldn't pass up that deal.

Now Ive got more work to do, but this kind of work I don't mind.

Better to have a bad day of camping than a good day at work!

You are probably aware that there are videos out there that give you step by step instructions. There is probably a link to such a video in your instructions.

I downloaded the video to my tablet and had it at my side while taking apart all the plastic pieces on front of vehicle to get to frame. Really helpful!

Have fun

Yes. I watched it. I have installed them before. Did my buddy’s focus which I thought was more involved than the Explorer. I think the hardest part is going to be running the wiring for the tailights.

My thoughts exactly, by the end of the day my hands were pretty much had enough.
