Question First 5th wheel Wildcat 302RL 2011

I'm wondering what your thoughts are. I have pulled trailers for a long time but not 5th wheel units.
It's still sitting on the lot waiting for my truck to get the hitch & wiring done.
I would appreciate your input.

Well, not sure what kind of thoughts you are looking for. I can tell you after going from a TT to a 5th wheel, the first time I looked out that rear-view mirror and saw all that trailer back there, it was more than a little intimidating. It just seemed like that trailer was going to come through the window. but like all things, I got used to it and love my 5th wheel. What's more important, Mama loves it.

If you have any specific questions, please ask away. And welcome to the board!

Your going to love the way it tows! Relax. The first thing I do when turning with a new rig is mark a little spot on the road with your eye and look back and see where the trailer tires hit it, "Establishing your tracking, turning clearance". The FIRST thing you'll see is the 5th did the turn with tons of room to spare over a TT! Now apply that to turning the rig, on back up, into your spot at the campsite! It seems "big" and is intimidating at first, but that sucker does whatever you tell it to do,and say good bye to sway. Everything else is SOS, Have fun!
