The ram comes with a boost gauge, and I see no need for egt gauge on a stock truck.

I don't know how you'd mix the two up.

At least, my DEF filler tube has a cap and is a different colour.

Look at this thread on post #137 on for a few pages. (I dont know how to do links off the app). This guy stuck the def nozzle in the non-capped diesel and added some def before he realized his mistake.

Check with other users and you may find that a diesel additive might be beneficial. I use it all the time and with over 175000 miles and no problems it appears to be a good additive for me. Not all diesels need it but with some of the poor quality fuels out there, it might just be a good investment. Also, agree with above mentioned there are many different colored handles for the diesel and gas, so read the words.

After the first oil change is due, replace with high quality synthetic oil, I use the best Amsoil (AMSOIL - Synthetic Oil, Motor and Engine Oil, Lubricants, Air Filters, Oil Filters and Greases). Change all filters and change air filter to a K&N reusable filter. Money saved on all these.
I've never needed a timer to cool down turbo. I don't hammer down and shut it off. Last few minutes of travel are usually at an idle.

As for the DEF dilemma.
1. PAY ATTENTION
2. Don't fill DEF fluid from a Fuel Station Pump.
3. Replenish your truck DEF fluid from a 1 gallon jug.
4. When 1 gallon jug gets low of DEF fluid fill that at a Fuel Station Pump. Or buy it a a retail store.
5. PAY ATTENTION

PROBLEM SOLVED !!
