First (short) tow comming up tomorrow
Tomorrow the Silverback goes in for state inspection. It's the first tow with the new F-350 dually and the new Reese Elite hitch. This should be enought truck!
For us, this marks the official opening of the camping season, although you'd never know in from the weather. It still might be a little early to de-winterize!!
Yes, that is a 50 gallon Transfer Flow aux fuel tank at the front of the truck bed.

Very nice looking combo! Doubt you'll have any problems towing your 29RE with that great looking F-350.

A 2013 F350 4x4 Dually! Are you sure you have enough truck???? That is a beautiful rig! I keep wanting a 6.7L, but my wife says "keep dreaming" as my '10 F350 dually only has 18k miles on her. Congrats on the purchase and she sure is pretty! YES, I can admit I have truck envy!

Very nice setup you have there.
I'd be making that Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor noise right now if I knew how to spell it.
Have Fun!

Hey N3HCP,
Did your truck come with the goose-neck/5er in-bed connections or did you have to install post-purchase?

You're going to love the way that beautiful truck tows. I'm towing about 15,500 pounds with mine and she doesn't complain at all. I can't wait to try mine in the mountains.
I have the same hitch as you and only have one complaint. The hitch head rides on a pivot bar so it can pivot left to right. There's slack in the head which allows it to slide forward and backward on the pivot bar. The Tech where I got my camper got a piece of ABS plastic and made a shim to take up the slack. Now, it is nice and quiet!

It was a factory option. Just drop on the hitch and away we go.

Yep. Pa requires an annual inspection on any trailer over 2K pounds.
