Flagstaff 19 QBHW towing

I have a 2011 Ford Ranger 4.0 l with tow package, tow capacity 5,800 lbs. Max tongue weight 350 lbs. I am planning to purchase a 19qbhw, 2230 lbs stated dry weight, noticed the tongue weight is 330 lbs.Am I correct in assuming that is the weight not including the dual propane bottles and battery mounted on the tongue? Will be towing it 180 miles from the dealer just to get it home. Trying to figure if i need to go with a wdh?

Thanks

Thanks Rick, I was leaning that way and glad to hear from someone who actually used a Ranger.

If you are dead set on it get a WDH. I had a 2003 Ranger with the 4.0 V6 towing a 19 ft boat. Trans was replaced at 60k and the truck got 11 MPG going up hills with that boat attached. It was not a pleasant tow experience but it got the job done.

Just keep it as light as possible. Payload capacity was my killer. But i only had a pop up then.

Planning on getting a full size truck next year, so hopefully, this is temporary.

You should be OK, just make sure the WDH is set up right. I'd recommend the Equal-i-zer 4 point
