Ford Escape Toad
Just acquired a 2006 Ford Escape as a toad. It already had Blue Ox base plate installed. It is a 5 spd manual with 4 cyl engine. The Escape has a 4 pin light connection. The owners manual says it is 4-down towable as is with 70 MPH limit. The manual does not say anything about key position or fuse pulling. It appears the key needs to be in the "ACC" position left in the vehicle.
We have added a Patriot brake and a Blue Ox 6500# tow bar.
Looking for advice on key position, brake controller or anything else related to the 2006 escape.
