Ford SD OEM B&W 3300 5er Hitch

Just curious if anyone is currently using this hitch in a Ford SD with the fifth wheel setup using the Reese Elite rails that come pre-installed factory? If so do you like it? Thoughts on it? Thanks in advance.

In my humble opinion, you can't go wrong with any B&W product. They pretty much use the same head design, it's just how it attaches to the truck that is different. It is a very easy hitch to use and maintain. It makes my fellow camping buddies jealous at how easy she hitches/unhitches. I've had 2 Turnover Ball hitches but used the same Companion on 2 different trucks. The hitches are made in the USA and their customer service is second to none. Although I don't own one that fits the Ford factory setup, I can say that I believe that B&Ws are the best on the market.

^^^^^ what he said. I can't compare the B&W to other hitches as it's taken my cherry - but I do like it, a LOT.

Compared to some of the "I dropped my fiver" threads - I just feel like you'd have to try and mess up with this thing.

I use the OEM hitch on my 2012 F350.There's nothing I dislike about this hitch.Easy to hook up,and my favourite part, if I need the bed of my truck it can be removed in less than 3 minutes or re-installed in less than 3 minutes, assuming you can lift 70 lbs.

That is great news. I'm so glad I got the option installed and hapy that B&W made the OEM hitch setup. I didn't want to spend the extra $500 for the matching Reese. This is the one I'll be buying for sure.

sweet set up.

I'm new to this forum, frequent the diesel/ford sites, just started lurking today.

I'm looking into a trailer set up, I have the vehicles and a new F350 crew in my sights, trying to get an idea what the best setups are. Im glad you posted these up, helps me, thanks!

My 2011 SuperDuty looks like your Golden Bronze! nice set up!

That is really interesting, looks like you have four holes on the sides that the hitch sets on/into and the ball in the center also??

I just took delivery of my 2012 F250 Crew cab long bed FX4 and installed the B&W OEM hitch today at lunch. Only took about 30 minutes to put together (need to install the arms and torque 8 bolts for first time install). Hitch dropped right into the factory hitch prep holes and is a very solid unit. Much more solid feeling than my Reese 16k Slider i had in my chevy. I will be hooking up for the first time this weekend so i can report back in a few days on that part. My favorite feature of this hitch is the easy two piece removal re install. Literally takes less than five minutes and you are back to a slick truck bed. My old Reese was a bear to handle by myself and i would normally wait till i had help to remove it. I ordered my hitch from Tweety's for $799 with free shipping and had it in 3 days!
