Freestar M-108 tires

Anyone have any experience with these tires? ST205/75/15. Got a pretty good price on them from a dealer that I trust. Load range C which is 1,820 per tire so that gives me 3,640 per side or a total load of 7,280. Am I calculating that correctly? My rig is about 5,400 loaded with empty tanks so it would seem to be well within the weight rating of the tires. Reviews are good/bad depending, but so are the reviews on the GY Marathons.

If that is a measured weight, then it is 74% of the tire set maximum and I would not be worried. I remember your previous thread and had looked up the specs on that camper as having around 7000lbs gross on the tires. Since the dry weight on the tires would be around 4000 then I guess you could be at 5400 loaded.

My previous TT had Chinese 'Nanco' tires and after a very early failure (which was, I think, due to rolling off the bead in a sharp turn backup) the spare plus the rest of them lasted 9 years until I traded in the trailer.

Just be sure to check for 50psi cold at the start of every trip.

My tt came with them. I just replaced all 4 after the first year. They started to show signs of cracking around the tread.
