Friction Sway Control Inquiry
I have a 2607 Rockwood Ultra Lite that I have been towing with only a single sway control arm on the left side. I'm thinking of adding an additional sway control arm for the right side and wanted to know if any friction sway control arm can be used for the right side? Are there specific right side sway control arms? Thanks...

Can be used on either side, or both sides. There is no specific side to mount as far as I know( and that ain't much ).

Since the topic is sway control, does anyone have any experience with the Equalizer sway system? I currently have an Eaz-lift system but I am training in my current rig on a new Rockwood 8296ss and the dealer is recommending the Equalizer. Thanks.

The Equal-i-zer brand, by Process Mfg., is a great hitch. I used the Equal-i-zer WD Anti-Sway set-up on my last two trailers.
Once set properly, it's a breeze use. Hitching and un-hitching is easy. Trailers followed straight and true.

Milzat is right,Had one on my 30' prowler and loved it.My first trip with it was from Omaha to Yellowstone and it worked great compared to my friction bar.

love my Equal-i-zer!
make sure it's the real one and not some cheap WDH that the dealer calls an equalizer.

You bet. I do not get yanked around by 18 wheelers, it goes down the road straight, the trailer brakes in a straight line in a panic stop ( don't ask, and you can back up very tight without having to disconnect anything. The best part is that I was able to install it by my self and got it right the first time. I am a retired engineer and everyone knows that they cant do anything by them selves.

Thanks for the input. The dealer said the E-2 system would be good enough but I'm thinking of going with the Equalizer 1000. Apparently the difference is 2 vs 4 point sway control. Any comments?

I don't know about the E-2, but I have the 1,000 lb Equal-i-zer and have no problems. I also set it up myself in less than an hour. My dealer initially did the set up and had it wrong about every way possible. I read through the manual and re-did it myself at home and my 33' 11" trailer tows great with no sway and I don't notice the semi's passing at all.

We use the equalizer 4pt., 1000lb. and are very happy with it. Tows well, straight and true when properly set up, easy to back up (for as well as I back up anyway) nd easy to adjust. I guess that means I am recommending it. Old Guys

BTW, my Equal-i-zer had the 12,000 Lb. bars.
You may want to go with the 12,000 Lb. bars, in case you upgrade to a larger trailer in the future.
The 12.000 Lb. bars were used on my 3600 Lb. Aerolite trailer and also on my 8315SS Rockwood(near 7000 Lbs.).

Times two on the 12,000 pound hitch. The extra few bucks now will pay off later if you even get a bigger camper.
