front hitch

does anyone know where I can get a hitch for the front of my 2007 dodge ram 2500? I want to mount my bycycles on the front instead of rear of TT.

Man,are you clairvoyant or what!? I just put a front hitch on my dually yesterday (Saturday).Didn't want to chance anything on the rear of the fiver except what's suppose to be there! I have an '08 Ram.It's a Curt model 31017.I think it will take 400lbs tongue weight,4500 towing weight and 9000lbs straight pull weight.I am guessing on those, they do have the specs on them on the website.Got it from Autoanything. Cost was $165.00 No shipping cost. My only major gripe was drilling 2 1 1/8 in. holes in the frame,OUCH!!.If your mechanically inclined and have all the tools you can install it in an hour.Got to go,getting ready to use it as we speak! Hope this helps.

Check Curt Manufacturing, online, to see if they have one for your vehicle. One thing to keep in mind is how high you bike rack sticks up above the hood. I started off on a trip with the bikes up so high that it was really distracting to drive. Of course it could just be me and being able to be easily distracted.
