New Intakes: 3.5L EcoBoost and 5.9L Cummins

Interesting...

The new intake for the Cummins was minimal gains..it's the tuner they also added which netted the improvement.

For whatever reason, they show the ecoboost peak torque at 3800 rpm, not 2500 rpm as claimed by Ford. At least they didn't claim better fuel mileage at the same time!

I had a tuner on my last F150. Didn't do squat. You can do more with a tuner on a turbo motor. But honestly, I would have huge reservations about putting a tuner on the Eco. It'll void your warranty and these tuners haven't done any long term durability testing.

I HAVE seen youtube videos of "tuner" Ecoboosts doing some phenomenal accelerations.
