Don't they do E Tests for emissions in the states? If we have deleted emissions equipment in Ontario we get fined if it does not pass. After 7 years any car or truck is tested for emissions, large trucks annually. Would the EGR and CAT delete on a Duramax meet a test for emissions?

It most likely would not meet emissions testing standards.
Here in the midwest there is no emissions testing.

If you do my math up above, hand calculated is actually more mpg then my dic shows.

Hand calculated 21 mpg
Dic 20.3 mpg

I'm with you SS. My 07.5 (basically an 08) gets similar milage and I'm only pulling the 7k lb. 22RKS. I think we got gyped!!
Actually I've heard that the frontal sail area drops the milage more than the weight.
Any how I didn't expect to get good milage with an RV of any kind. My 85yo Mom said there was only one thing my dad told her about going on trips with the camper. "If I hear one word about the cost to gas up I'll sell this SOB and we'll stay home." She never complained and they RV'd for over 20 years.

My 13 Ram gets 9+- towing my 18,000# set-up and it really has not mattered whether it is interstate runs or back road runs. Empty on mixed daily driving it's 18+. Long interstate runs have been 20-21. Hand calculated.
