I only bought it 4 days ago from the dealership. I am kind of hoping they will just take it back. I have a feeling they are going to tell me to pound sand though

Most dealers have 3 to 7 day 300 mile return policy.

Some places have a 30 day cooling off period that allow you to return a vehicle within 30 days. Not sure about Canada. Also try pointing out the differences between stickers and what you were shown.

Thumbs up Problem Solved

Thank you everyone for all your help and suggestions....Crisis averted....someone suggested looking up my model number, which is C25753 on the sticker on the drivers door.

https://www.gmupfitter.com/files/med...nformation.pdf

Based on this I actually have 2456lbs of Payload, which is way more than I need and now the world is all back to normal

Thanks for all your help and suggestions....I was pretty worried I had made a horrible mistake.

Payload is what is put on the door sticker, at least according to the manufacturer.

If you want your true payload, GVWR minus Scaled weight.

Hit the scales.
