GMC Envoy Denali - Trans cooler question

I just purchased an 06 GMC Envoy Denali with the 5.3L V8 which I plan to pull my 2011 Flagstaff MicroLite 23ML. This vehicle comes with a factory auxillary trans cooler in it already but should I upgrade to an aftermarket one?

If your within your tow ratings you'll be fine.
But when towing a bigger and better cooler never hurts!

Thanks Turbs. Towing capacity of the Envoy Denali is 6,000 lbs and the dry weight of the MicroLite is 3,700 so assuming 4,700 wet, I am certainly under the towing capacity of the Envoy.

Maybe next time it is in the shop, I'll have them look at it.

Some friends of mine tow the 23lb with a Trailblazer (Chevys version of the GMC Envoy), the long wheelbase model with the v-8 and did not do any mods to the cooler. They have been from Ohio to NC and back and many other long trips with no issues. Over 100,000 miles on the truck.
