Good advice.

Recently, someone on here told me to always buy your second camper first. Good advice, and I wish we had followed it, but we are very happy now.

But why didn't anyone tell my husband to buy his 3rd tow vehicle first?

Yesterday, he came home with a 2010 Ford Super Duty F-250 SRW Lariat diesel.
It sure is nice, but no more trucks until the kids are out of high school. And they haven't even started yet.

Oh, and did I mention that was 3 TVs in 11 months?

Sad thing is that we are in the same boat!!! Except we started with a pop up, into a good sized travel trailer and now into our SV 305 all in a year! Also, started out with a 5.3 chevy, stepped into the 5.7 Hemi and now into the 5.9 Cummins! Bigger is always better!

I think a lot of us do that. 3 campers in 5 years - Roo, Travel Trailer and now Fifth Wheel. About the same for tow vehicles - 5.3L Yukon XL, 6.2L Yukon XL Denali and now 2500HD Diesel! I think it should be buy your third camper first !

I bought a TV first, then bought the camper. Only to figure out that I needed a diesel TV to pull that much weight comfortably, so bought another TV(diesel), then figured out we wanted another camper(just slightly bigger than the first one). All in 11 months! LOL! I feel your pain!

We started with a bumper pull travel trailer pulled by a Ford Expedition. When we traded that TT in for our first fifth wheel...we didn't even own a pickup. Fortunately we ordered from the factory so we had six weeks to get a pickup lined up.

It's funny how addictive these things are - but, so enjoyable and so relaxing (and FUN!!!) - even after 12 years of RVing.

It's too bad that he didn't get a 1 ton with dual rear wheels because I'm predicting that he is not done buying TV's!
