You may want to contact the manufacturers directly - this is more of a fan forum with occasional mfr's present. The Internet rumor says it will.
I went with the B&W Turnover ball gooseneck hitch with a companion fifth wheel attachment on it. I have the flexibility to tow either goose or fifth, depending on the trailer. But I won't cross them (e.g. towing a fifth wheel with a gooseneck adapter).

Check with the manufacturer I have heard that it does void the warranty........Also heard it puts too much stress on a fifth wheel frame as there were not designed for it......Many use them with no problems others have had to deal with frame cracks.........
If you have no hitch yet why would you want to use a goose neck hitch???? They are are harder to hook up as well (not really that big of deal)....
A raill type fifth wheel hitch can be easily removed & adaptor plate type hich put in for goosnecks if you need a gooseneck...................

I have used the Colibert Gooseneck Adapter on the last three RVs that I've owned with no problem. They were a CarriLite, a Monaco Medallion, and a Weekend Warrior Toy Hauler.
HOWEVER, based on the frame issues I've read here, I ordered the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch for the truck, and will be using that for the 8289WS.
If you also need Gooseneck Capabilities, I'd suggest the B&W Gooseneck Hitch with the Companion, and you'll have the best of both worlds. The Companion installs in minutes with one bolt to tighten. Also comes out even faster, when I need the Gooseneck for my Scoreboard Trailer.

Hey George, how are you getting the Companion in and out with just 1 bolt? On mine, it's 5- the draw down bolt on top and then the two u-bolts each have 2 lock nuts that have to be loosened.
Of course I don't know how the flatbed truck/portion is different.

Doug,
The Flat Bed Companion is different than the conventional. There are no "U" Bolts. There is a tube in which the mount slides, and just the top tension bolt that is torqued to 40 Ft-Lbs.
I was concerned that the Companion might not work with my Gooseneck, as mine is fabricated as an integral part of the Hauler Bed. Called B&W, and they assured me it would work, and it does.
As I mentioned earlier, now the best of both worlds.

Nice! I'll admit- I'm a little more than jealous of your truck.
