Question Gross Weight and Balance, Food for Thought

Wife and I just purchased a Work and Play, 18LT, with a gross weight rating of 7900 lbs. The tandem axles are rated at 3500 lbs. each, and the tongue weight is 900 lbs. So far this fits all the weight limits. Now when I connect to the tow vehicle with a wd hitch, and the 900 lb tongue weight gets distributed, 300 front axle of the tow vehicle, 300 rear axle tow vehicle, and 300 back to the trailer, does this put the trailer axles over gross? (now the trailer has 7300 lbs of weight). All of these numbers are hypothetical, haven't made any real measurements yet, and shouldn't be towing that close to gross in my usage. Food for thought for anyone towing close to max weight.

Hypothetically that'd put you over but in real life there's no way you're going to transfer that percentage of weight to the RV axles. The only sure way to know how much you transfer is to set your WD hitch up to transfer the same amount of weight to the front and rear of your TV then weigh the RV axles to see what got transfered back there.
