OK. I've got most of the wiring problem fixed.

MillerTime, your list was the closest to my set up:

My Blue wire goes to the blue contact.
Brown wire goes to the Green contact.
Red wire goes to the Black contact.
Green wire goes to the Brown contact.
The center contact is not used.

So, what gave me fits was the absence of a White wire:

My Black wire goes to the White contact. There is no White wire on my pig-tail.

And finally, I figured out that the Yellow wire has no juice.

My Yellow wire is shorted out somehere north of the connecter under the truck where the pigtails for all things trailered begins.

Also along the way, I found the burned out fuses (2 of 'em).

I also learned that a bulb that lights up for running lights won't light up for turn signals or brake lights if you've blown the second wire.

Everything is back together, and working, except for my left turn signal. I'll be running my truck by a repair shop for that fix.

Thanks all.

Glad your almost there. I thought that there was a left and right trailer signal fuse on Fords fuse block but maybe I'm thinking about the gm ones.
-Hope its something simple!

The service guy at the Ford dealership thought that, too. But he couldn't find it. He did find another blown fuse, and gave me a replacement for free. I'm not sure what I fixed with the fresh fuse, but it wasn't the turn signal.

I'm taking it in on Friday.
