Shocks won't "beef up" anything, but they will improve handling.
How big is your Wildcat?

you may need more than just shocks, with a 1/2 ton pulling a 5th wheel.

course it depends on the size of your Wildcat.

I bought these for my 2008 Dodge 1500. We are pulling a cougar xlite 26sab With these installed it only sets the back end down app 2 inches. Makes the truck much more stable

We used this type of shock on our old XJ (Jeep Cherokee) which definitely stiffened up the back of the jeep. We were towing a 10' pop up and gear in the back of the jeep.

Don't know Monroe makes a shock for a Ram.

If your problem is that the rear end is sagging too much with the 5th wheel hooked up shocks won't help. Shocks don't support any weight. They only control the bounce. You will need either, (a) heavier springs for the rear, (b) airbags, (c) 3/4 ton truck or bigger.

What exactly are you trying to fix?

I fully endorse the Vehicle Suspension Kits - Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems as an option to airbags. levels the truck out nicely and improves handling. I use a 1/2 ton to pull my fiver.

I just put a set of Hellwig helper springs on my van for towing. Sure lifted the back with just my tools in it!
