Help please!

I've got a 2011 gmc 2500 duramax crewcab with the 6 1/2 foot bed. Im buying a cardinal 5th wheel this week. Im looking for a hitch tha I can hook to and not have to worry about having to use the slide option. Is there a hitch out there like this? If so which would be the best one?

Pullright, cost a small fortune but they're completely automatic.

How about something like this, it will give you a clean smooth bed if you need to pull out the hitch.. This one is an 18K Signature Series without a slide. I love mine....

Will that hitch work on my gmc? Everyone is telling me I have to have a slider because of the 6 1/2 foot bed. All this is so confusing. Lol

The slider part of the hitch is used mainly when you have to turn into tight places. Most are when the truck is at a 90 degree angle to the trailer. When you are in this position the front cap of the trailer will come in contack with the back part of the trucks cab. The slider will move change the angle and prevent this from happening.

I have an 08 GMC with the 6 ft. bed and I have not had the need to use my slider yet. So I think I could have gone without the slider option in my opinion...

Well the dealer called today about my camper. I asked him about the pullrite superglide hitch. He said that a customer brought his back and wanted a manual slider. So the dealer told me that the superglide auto slider wasn't what its cracked up to be, and he's pushing his manual hitch. WHAT SHOULD I DO? LOL

I concure what eveyone else says, with the new campers and angle pins a slider is not necesary but I have a manual slider and they are very easy to use, but with my new camper I have not had to use my slider at all
