Yes, I am using a Fastway E2 hitch with 10000# trunion bars. I feel I have the hitch set pretty well, only sitting about a half inch lower in the back when hitched. I'm just looking for a little extra support in the back so the truck will level out a bit more. 2 weeks ago I drove through a torrential downpour pulling the camper and I had to slow down to 45 mph because I felt like I had very little control over the steering. Thanks for the replies. I'm still pondering my decision.

Thanks moellerdan for clarifying your situation. When you said very little control over the steering what did you mean? Sway?

Sounds like you may need more weight transferred to the front axel. The WDH should do that easily and better than any other method. That is what they are designed to do.

I have a 2013 Tundra Limited towing a 35' Rockwood 8329ss. The truck is rated for 10,400 & the TT weighs about 7400 empty.
Last year two years of towing I had to replace the rear shocks due to leakage. If not shocks, what ever those blue things are in the back of the truck. It cost near $500 but now works fine.
Should I consider air bags? Anyone?

Remember a Tundra can't come close to towing capacity because of payload and GCWR. Your loaded TT tongue weight is going to consume most of your payload so pack light in both TT and TV. It seems to me you think you have plenty cushion but you really may be overloaded putting extra weight on your rear axle.

Most of the limited' that I have seen are crewman cabs- which are rated at 9000lbs. The reg cab with long bed is the only set up I know rated at 10,400. Others are right your tongue will gobble nearly all of your cargo capacity. My unit is 6400 dry/780 tongue. Loaded I'm at 950+. Which leaves me all of 300 lb for cargo , dogs an DW. Guess what? I'm overweight. Tried leaving her at home and she followed me camping anyways. I am using super springs and they help keeping the unit more level and the ride towing is vastly better than stock especially on rough roads.
