Hensley Arrow for $500

I am in the market for a Hensely and just discovered that a guy just south of my home is selling a used one (Hensley Arrow Model HA 1000) for $500. He says that the unit is 15 years old and, with the exception of requiring a paint job, is in great shape. The price sounds fantastic, but I am concerned about the age. Has Hensley Arrow undergone any important upgrades over the last 15 years to render this unit outdated?

I don't know about the Hensley hitch nor your trailer you have but when we got our 5th the dealer said to go with double pivoting hitch so when going over uneven terrain there will be less stress on the fibreglass walls of the trailer as the hitch will flex more. That logic sounded good to me so got the double pivoting hitch.

There haven't been any important upgrades to the Hensley Arrow since the day the first one was made. It's effectively the exact same hitch that they started selling in 1994. The only upgrades to the original Hensley design are built into the ProPride 3P hitch.
