I'm confused..... If there is no resolution, and Hensley is only an hour away.... Rest assure I'd be having myself a road trip....

Is this the Cub model or Arrow? It could be that the snap up brackets want to straight vertical Did one of them slip? There is a tab between the two swivel heads that locks them together when the stringer is not inserted. Its not interfering with the operation is it?
I have never found Hensley to be a pain in the arse. Except lifting it to install! And really I felt more in the back.

I did, just hate when I mess up a quote. It still did not work. Eh...

Like what was just said, make the trip to the manufacturer. That has "All Wrong" written all over it.

I'm not yet convinced it was not due to the less than ideal placement of the snap up brackets by the TT dealer. I wont know that until I get my 12v system put back together so I can pull it down the road.

IF it is still not functioning as it should, than off to Hensley I will a-go.

No, but I did remount them so the chains are more vertical. They were installed @26.5 inches rather than 25.5. Based on the advice from the Hensley office I installed them @ 25".

Functions as it should.

Thats what I have a tractor for!!

In all seriousness... I do think the 20 degree angle on the chains contributed to, if not was causing, the issue. It didn't dawn on me until a few days ago prior to moving the brackets and I had all but forgotten it when I created this thread.

Yet, you contributed to the 15 minutes you lost by composing a post.

BTW, a little with the "15 minutes" comment.

If it took you 15 minutes to get to the point you composed a post, perhaps the "15 minutes" you lost shouldn't be your biggest concern.
