purchased used Hensley Arrow

I just purchased a used Hensley arrow for my 2011 Flagstaff 34' Vlite. I had tried several other equalizer hitchs with built-in sway control (both Reese and Equalizer) and still had sway problems and control issues on the interstates. The Hensley completely eliminated all of the problems for me. Now I can relax when I am pulling my trailer. I bought the used Hensley because of price. I found it for $850 within 2 hours drive of my house. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to install it including getting longer safety chains. I will be using the Hensley until I decide to trade for either a motor home or a 5th wheel. Even my wife is pleased with how well the TV and trailer handles now. I don't want to get into any discussion on which is best, I just know what is working for me.

Later,

Dakota EV, enjoy your Hensley. You are right about discussing which hictch is best, everyone has different needs and wants, different levels of peace of mind and security. I personally would not tow without either a Hensley or ProPride, that doesn't make them the best hitch, just what I want to use and feel comfortable with.

Good luck with your Hensley, sounds like you got a good deal, keep on RVing.
