I just had to laugh. Was watching Youtube videos yesterday. Did search on "RAM 5500". One video was of new 5500 towing 4 car hauler. RAM had NO bed and just fifth wheel hitch. Was two mexican types unloading the cars. I noticed "VGW 54,000 pounds" marked on side of truck. And you RV haulers seem to be concerned about overloading!!!
That is a cab and chassis, not a standard pickup. That's why there is no bed.
That is pretty high though. The highest I saw for a Ford for 2017 F-550 is 40,000 # GCVW with the available High Capacity Trailer Tow Package.
05,. I am well aware there are no factory pickups in 4500/5500s. This marking is way beyond any factory rating. I'm not complaining just lol. Not to say the truck won't handle it....
