Hitch Advice

My wife and I are purchasing 2005 Cardinal 29LE to be towed with a 2003 Ram 2500 diesel long bed. Seller is giving me a Reese 30051 "Kwik Slide" hitch,16000 lb rating. Any thoughts on how this hitch will perform in a long bed truck?
Have towed TT before but never a 5th wheel so am not real familiar with this type of hitch.

You should have no need for a slider of any kind in a long bed truck. But you could always take it and sell it to help pay for a hitch you like.

He is correct - we have a RAM 2500 3/4 ton Longhorn pulling a Silverback FW and do not need or have a slider hitch

Keep it, install it. It will work. Or sell it on Craigslist for not much buck age and get what you want if you want something else.

Check out B&W hitches.RV Hitch | B & W Trailer Hitches.they nearly have a 'cult' following1 I am one myself!! Have a variety to choose from. If you already have rails, they have one for that too!!! PLUS, they are 100% made in USA and have customer service second to none!!!

I prefer to say that I'm a "fan boy".

But yes- B&W for me and I highly recommend it.
