Hitch replacement?

How long should a hitch last? I know it depends on how many miles you have on it. I have a hitch a Reese w/d trunnion style with about 15k miles.

I noticed some metal ware on both ends of the metal w/d bars.

Should the ends be lubricate with grease? The dealer said no grease was needed?

I just purchased a new trailer and will be picking it up next month, and plan to just mount my current hitch to the new trailer. Or, should I look for a new hitch for the new trailer?

Thanks in advance for your help.
