i used the bright yellow magnetic sticks with my pop us. planted one on thr top of the ball and thr other on the hitch. first use....lined up great but snapped one of the posts in half when the hitch hit the stick that was on the ball so i could never use them again.

planning on purchasing a new lcd head unit (appradio2) and rear camera so me and dw can hitch soo.

Update (problem solved)

Today I was able to hitch up again without any problems. I only got out once to check and only needed to back up about an inch.

The problem at the storage place is that the pavement is a deep black color too. There I can use a light or bright color towel on the ground to help to break up all the black colors so I can see what I am looking at in the camera. (black coupler, black hitch, black pavement)

PS
No gentle tapping - just did it the way it should be done.

Paint the hitch head white and the coupler white. Worked like a charm for me for many years with only a mirror.

Just tell the DW to put her hand in front of the tongue coupler. When you hear "OUCH" you only have about an inch to go!

Just don't tell my GF I said that, or she might use my head for the same function. But then she would have much further than an inch to go, so I wouldn't recommend her method as an accurate one...Just sayin'

So true and thanks for the link. Just curious - would this work with a anti-sway and WD bars too?
