I'm sure the rv dealer said sure it will pull it, no problem. Won't even know it's back there.

All the ones that don't have the Max towing package. It comes installed with the Max tow.

Mine must have been an exception then because it has max tow and they had to be installed.

Mine is a 2013 and it's right in the fuse box from the factory. If you have the standard tow package it comes in the glove box and has to be installed like you or someone else stated earlier.

The only thing you didn't mention was the sticker on the door post.
I have a 2011 F150 Super Cab, sticker load limit passengers/cargo 2,393. my max tow is 11,200, according to the manual tongue max is 1,120, about the same as yours. After reading the manual several times it finally sunk in, the tongue weight is part of the passenger/weight. There is a direct relationship to axle and tire rating also. After looking at several of those door stickers, they also have the axle/tire rating - without the tow package some were over the limits.
I was amazed how close the quoted GVW was to the actual scale - my GVW is 200 shy, actual passenger/cargo is 2,193, if calculation is right. I'm going by the sticker.

My MaxTow had fuses in the glovebox.

I tow at about 7200 pounds ready to camp and the EB pulls beautifully. I've towed about 7k miles with it so far. I get tight on payload, as we are 750 pounds of people! 850 with the dog.

I didn't know about the trailer tow battery relay until I read this thread. I just went to my truck and found the fuse in the glove box. I have a 2013 F150 XL Extended cab with Max Tow and H/D payload package.

My fuse was in the glove box, had to put it in myself and I have the max tow. Over on the F150 Ecoboost forum, most of them said likewise, so I'm not so sure it matters if it's max tow or not. It's still very good info because I never would've known about it lol

Well maybe I have a good dealer that knew I was going to tow with the truck and had it prepped for me when I picked up my 2013. The 2010 with the standard tow package that I traded in on the 13 had the fuse in the glove box.
