I have been using 1/2 oz per gallon of the Waltmart 2 cycle for several years. I know it's good for lubing the injectors but can't say I've seen any increase in mileage. I did switch out the front hubs to free spin and gained a solid 2 MPGs. I get roughly 11 towing my 14K Heartland 5er, and 13 to 14 with the 34ft Salem Hemi

49 ft 5er towing from durham nc to Ashville nc cruise set at 65 9.7 mpg 07 duramax normal driving I get around 14-15.

12 MPG Fort Stockton to Las Cruces NM

Just got to New Mexico.Averaged 12 MPG even though there were some 4,000 ft elevations. Tucked in behind a 5th wheel and was getting 14-15 at times.

I have been looking at the Georgetown 35DL to replace my F-150 and 2703ws. I am now getting about 10 mpg but when I talked to a guy who owns that Georgetown and he says he gets 4 to 5 mpg towing a Honda crv, I'm having second thoughts. I think I will keep my money in the bank.

It is pretty clear the large Fifthwheels 12000 lbs. up get 10 to 12 with Diesel power and 7 to 8 with gas burner. I have always had Diesels to tow with and pulled 12000 plus 5th wheels and got between 11 and 12. Switched to gas burner as not doing nearly as much camping as did and am getting 7 to 8. Only do one big trip a year, so I can deal with it. Hopefully the Son in Law will go on and get a Ford diesel he has been talking about. Told him to get factory fifthwheel hitch option in it. We camp together most of the time anyway.

Saw my lowest MPG's yet this weekend. We went camping in the mountains so it was all backroads and constant hill climbs (seemed like we were always going uphill... both ways... lol). Averaged 13mph for the trip. We were holding 18 up until we hit the actual mountains.
