Husky round bar eq question

Hi all,
Just upgraded our TT from a Wildwood 21RBS to a Cherokee 254Q. My Husky eq bars are for 500-800 lbs, and the tongue weight of the Cherokee is 730. Is this within safety limits? I also notice that the front end of my truck is higher in the front now, is there any way I can adjust the shank to level it out more? Or do I need to get " heavier" bars?

You need to be in the Center of weight rating on your Bars, you are at the END! You should really think about a Sway Control also! Youroo!!

You need to start over with the set up and see how close to level you can get. Good chance you will need to upgrade.

So, can I get away with just getting replacement bars, or do I need to get the whole system upgraded? ( also, I already have a Curt friction bar installed).

You don't say if the hitch weight is measured or theoretical . Before I did anything, I would get an actual hitch weight ( with TT packed for camping).

I had the same situation and looked at just replacing the bars. The hitch would allow it but the cost savings wasn't that great. I ended up buying an entire new set up and then selling my old hitch. I did keep my sway bar. Good luck.
