Hyundai Sante Fe towing capacity

3.5, V6.....2005 Sante Fe

I saw the other post one here about towing with a Sante Fe but I have a 3.5 and wondering if I, like the other poster, am limited to a popup or A-liner. Thanks!

It looks like your maximum towing capacity is 3,000 pounds so you should probably be looking at trailers around 2,000 pounds dry weight. Probably means a pop-up; and not a real large one.

yep, 3000lbs. and that's with the factory tow package.

A-Liner, Chalet, popups, R-pods are about all you can tow.

and you have to subtract anything over a 150lb. driver, from the 3000lbs.

so, if you have an extra 500lbs. of passengers and cargo, then you can only tow 2500lbs.
and that's your max, which i wouldn't want to tow at.
