Jeesh, all I wanted to do was comment about how much I liked the towing and stopping power of my diesel. I didn't mean to reignite a diesel vs gas war. lol

I guess I won't mention that I like Pepsi over Coke, and McD's over BK, YIKES!!!

Even if you don't care for chicken, it is worth stopping at Chick-fil-A for the lemonade... made from fresh squeezed.

Yep first diesel ever for me just over a year ago. Can't see ever owning gas again. Also the braking control is an even bigger reason than the pulling power. Love the exhaust brake.

Only the BEST fast food restaurant around! They are mostly in the south but have spread up this way over the last 6 or 7 years. Kinda like poutine! A necessity! LOL

No Chik-fil-A here in Buffalo, we just got our first Sonic last year.

But, we have Mighty Taco, a local favorite.

A) No one drinks "Bourbon and Pepsi". Just sayin'.....

B) Chick Fil A is crowded every minute the doors are open. Every one of them. My family loves it. They make great milk shakes. Their chicken tastes like dried shoe leather to me. I eat dark meat chicken because white meat is too dry. Ugh. Chick Fil A throws dark meat out, I assume.

C) I have owned a pickup truck for...........more years than most of you have lived. 2 years ago I got a 3/4 ton Diesel. Oh my!!! Everything before that was a toy. That was a truck! Now I have a Dually 1 ton. OOOHHH MYYYY! I want to hook on to ugly buildings that I pass to see if I could pull them off of the foundation! Plus it has electric brains and buttons and vibrating seats and sensors upon sensors and whatnots everywhere!!!!

Wife drives my old 1/2 ton gasser. Driving it is like going back in time and driving an Amish buggy!

Try going between your 3500 and a mini-van... thankfully, the wife now has a suburban so it isn't that bad

I took it to my guy today.......tire/brake store. Their brake guru drove it, and he looked at me funny and said 'There is ZERO wrong with this truck! I let go of the wheel and it tracked true. I'd buy it if you want to sell it!"

After discussion with the owner, he/we decided the only reason I THOUGHT something was wrong was how differently it drove than my new dually!

I wish they had diesel 3/4 ton Tahoe's!

What are your experiences with a diesel pick up truck?

DocGTO... curious what was it about the 03 dodge that made you go with a duramax... and what was it about the LMM you seemingly keep it such a short time before getting the '10 cummins?

At times we have 2 trucks at once. We have a farm so the wife uses one as well. The 2003 Dodge was great except it had the worst seats in the world.... LOL

The 09 LMM was a good truck but I couldn't pass up the deal on that 10 Dodge. I basically stole it and they gave me strong money for the 09 LMM.

Now, LML to LMM: LML all day long and of course, the improved frame, brakes, ect on the 2011 and newer Chevys.

I just bought a new truck. I was looking used as well as new. 08-10 were automatically eliminated because of the bad design of DPF.
