Question I want opinions the good the bad the ugly

I want change Weight dist. hitch from the Equal-i-zer 1,000/10,000 I have had for the last 5 yrs and 2 different travel trailers. I looking at the Blue ox sway pro 1,200 and the Andersen 1,400/14,000 I've read so posts on a lot of different forums I don't know which to go with.

The reason for the change is I'm tired of the brackets shifting, my hitch weight on this TT is over 900 lbs I think I'm too close to the limit so I want something with stronger bars & I notice the holes for the pins are not round and worn.

The Anderson claims to reduce the bounce, both claim to the best, both are easy to put on and remove, both are easy to self install, so want to I buy? I don't know if I'm comfortable with chains and rubber but it gets a lot of great reviews.

Blue Ox changed their design so is it as good as the old design?

Mike,
Your trailer shows a GVWR of 8650lbs so its a good idea to look at heavier bars (than 1,000lb) on whatever system you use; including the Equal-i-zer.

I can't help you with your alternative choices because I haven't used them. But, I've heard good things from the few who have opted to try the Andersen. Have you looked at this thread on the Andersen? If kind of got out of hand, but you will find comments from a few and you can PM them if they don't see this thread of yours.
