Signature/Elite by Reese/Drawtight. Can't go wrong. Bought mine used and never had chucking issues or any other issues whatsoever in 5 years of towing with it.

I gotta hijack the thread a bit- out of curiosity, why do you have a Reese Revolution and a slider hitch? Doesn't the Revolution negate the need for a slider?

The dealer made a mistake and gave me the slider instead of standard legs, at the same price as a non-slider so I took it.

I liked the functionality, design, looks & made in USA features on the B&W 16K hitch. The make this standard 5th wheel hitch and the B&W Companion turnover goose neck. My standard hitch has a base & a hitch head that just sits on rubberized towers/isolators so the head can easily be picked up and taken off and the base you must pull the 4 pins that hold it in to remove and all that is left is the rails exposed. I do not remove mine as I have a tri-fold tonneau cover that keeps it protected. The hitching / unhitching works fantastic and locks in solid, no slop and no chucking. With the Reese revolution pin box you don't need a slider as I can turn mine over 90 degrees and not hit the cab on my crewcab 6.75 foot box truck.

I have same setup. Had slider hitch for previous fiver. Then bought new fiver with revolution.

Because they chose to make it part of the deal, we went with the Husky. We're going to have the "Bed Saver" safety rod (Butch's Svcs. LLC.) installed on it though. It's only $59.95 plus shipping and will be well worth that in added security and peace of mind.

I'm just calling that set-up "5er Hitch For Dummies".

My dealer did the same thing and I didn't like the slider and they put a regular 16K Reese in instead. Too much slack and movement in the slider for me. Also added shims under the legs to remove the slack in the 16K. I really like the Revolution as it allows me to use a full bed tonneau cover (slightly modified) while towing.

OC,

DH has read a *lot* of your posts here while preparing for this purchase. He got the idea of the "bed saver" safety rod/pin from you.

Our tonneau is a trifold and while he doesn't intend to modify ours...at least not *yet*, it's his thinking that he can just fold up two sections of the tonneau while towing.
