Yep. I looked for any differences and could not find one. I know in some states it is cheaper to register a 10500 than a 14000.

So they fake the stickers on that basis?
I know people licence their campers and trucks with phoney weights, but for the manufacturer to do that seems a bit much. But then, these days not much should surprise us anymore. The whole world is becoming one big scam.

Not a scam, just some people don't need 14000 gvwr. Some only need 10500.

I guess under-rating a truck is not as bad as over-rating it.
But if a buyer doesn't need a big GVWR, why would they pay extra for something they don't need?
Anyway, interesting note.
