Are you sure that those numbers aren't for weight bearing...weight distributing numbers would be higher, more like 1200/12000.

This is me ready to pull out to Branson. While I am under on everything else I am over on GVWR (which suprizes me). The only solution is to take weight off the truck and get rid of it or transfer it to the very back of the trailer, where I have 250 lbs of capacity on my factory platform.

One thing is to put my spare back on the back of the trailer and get it out of the truck bed, and maybe carry the generator in the trailer.

HOW CAN YOU BE UNDER ON EVERYTHING BUT THE GVWR, it makes no sense???

That's a very common story for 2500 series truck pulling fifth wheels- the payload capacity is usually the thing that limits you the most (not nearly as bad as 1/2-ton and smaller trucks, but it's still there).

I'd venture a very uneducated and non-scientific guess that most 3/4-ton trucks pulling fifth wheels are at or very close to GVWR. But, they're under all of their other specs and many make the choice that its acceptable to them.

Yeah that sounds good as my biggest concern is the axles and tires. It's towing flat and steady and WAY under the GCWR. So stopping should not be a problem.. The camper is under its rating also. I'm a little suprized also about the 2200 pin weight on a 9200 lb camper. Maybe FR should have put the axles a little bit further forward? That would help with a lot of things.

That's a 24% pin weight which is directly in line with the "standard" of 20-25%. Mine is as low as 16% but I also have dual slides at the very rear. I think mine is more of an anomaly than normal (though I know Herk has reported similar numbers).

Okey then. My superglide doesn't help as it weighs a lot. My spare must weight 60 or more lbs and if I take it out of the truck and put on the bumper hanger that it was on that would change things by 100 lbs. The back of my camper is pretty light. And all the xtra weight is toward the front in the storage compartment.

I can see some mods coming.. Maybe a diamond plate box on the back platform with generator and stuff in it

Well, we weighed on the way to Cape May.
To say I was shocked (again) is an understatement.

I loaded as if we were traveling to Goshen for our 2 month trek just to be sure we are still good to go. We are not and when I can scan the tickets I will walk you through the work up I did. I will re do everything after we get back and find "the culprit."

Here are my tickets and the workups for my very first one in November 2009 and how the camper has "grown" since. All workups were with the camper packed for Florida (2 month trip or more in both hot and cold weather)

Needless to say, we are going on a diet before Goshen. 4 cases of "adult beverages" will be the first to be paired down. Tool and spares box will get looked at again. The 10,000 pound tow chains are also "outa there."

There are a few mods to be done that will add about 100 pounds to the structure and I will re-weigh and do another work up before our July trip.

Weight - unhitched from truck, sitting on scale with leveler hitch, 5,921#

TV: 2011 Ford F-150 Supercab with 5.0 engine, 6-spd tranny, 3.55 axle ratio.

This is nothing special and the F-150 does fine at 65 mph, which is what the tires are rated for anyway... Trailer weight is loaded for a typical 5-day fishing trip to Beaver's Bend in S. E. Oklahoma. I don't buy groceries until we get there and never run with loaded tanks. Just some bedding, clothes, a few toiletries, towels, chairs, Astroturf mats, and the outdoor grille that hangs on the side.
