I'm towing how much !

Since acquiring the new trailer I have had to do some math, and became curious as to whats out on the road with me.

If you would be so kind as to provide for me and the rest of the forum some of the numbers you folks have - I am looking at the just the gross numbers as follows:
Please copy and paste into your reply =>
Trailer:
Make:
Model
Length
GVW (Spec sheet)
UVW (Yellow sticker)
Rolling weight (if you know)
Tongue weight (actual or 10 to 15% GTW)
or Pin Weight (actual or 15-25% of the GTW)

TV
Model
GVW (door sticker)
Curb weight
Payload
(gross weight - no passengers or cargo)
Receiver
Hitch type & capacity
Sway Control

For me it equals:
Trailer:
Make: PT
Model: 33BHS
Length: 36' 10"
GVW (Spec sheet): 9589lbs
UVW (Yellow sticker: 8520lbs
Tongue weight (actual or 10 to 15% GVW) 960

TV
Model: GMC 2500HD 4x4
GVW (door sticker): 9200lbs
Curb weight:7100lbs
Payload : 2100lbs
(gross weight - no passengers or cargo)
Receiver: OEM with WDH rating 1000lbs tongue 10,000lbs max
Hitch:Pro Series 10,000lbs with 1000lbs round bars
Sway Control None

I gather this is a travel trailer only poll.

5th wheel numbers are very different.

Getting a re-weigh in the morning (after all the mods my current weight tickets are not valid anymore).

Will post when I get home next week and can attach my weight tickets.

shreddy, I don't think there is any way that the site team can edit your poll. You could start another poll with the missing weight range, and we could move the posts to that. But, you already have a bunch of members that have taken the poll, so your would lose that information.

Why don't we just go with this thread, and those that have trailers in the missing range just click the next highest if they are over 5500 lbs., or under 5000 lbs if the are under 5499 lbs. ??

Confused yet ??

I've posted my weights in the past.
I am about 1000 pounds under GCWR and about 200 pounds under GVWR for the truck.

Mtnguy thanks for the suggestion - by the time I got back online it looks like herk7769 made a fix.
Herk - thanks for the fix
I think we will be surprised by many of the numbers - I know I was when I looked at the max capacity on my receiver then when looking at after market ones finding the majority of the replacement at 500 / 5000 for a 3/4 ton --- I think the local shop said the could source a B&W 1600/16000 one for me but it would take a bit for delivery.

Hopefully soon I can reweigh mine but may have to weight for next month... the advertised pin weight is just under 2600 lbs the trailer actual dry is around 9600 gross 14,500............What I am real curious about is how much it being loaded (& with what) will affect the pin weight...............

With a TH the weights can vary so much...............

This?

I found this;
"I'm very near GVWR with my truck which has a 1500 lb payload capacity.
Scale numbers from a month ago coming home after 4 days camping;
Ft axle 3450
R axle 3550
Truck weight hitched, spring bars attached 7000
GVWR 7200
We were not packed heavy for a long trip.

Numbers from last weekend packed light for just a 2 day trip;
Ft axle 3450
R axle 3500

Weight on trailer tires hitched, both times, spring bars attached 5550

The GCWR for my truck is 13500. Total weight on the road about 12500.
My truck is rated to tow 7700 - BUT - if I add another 1000 lbs in cargo to the trailer I will be adding about 120 lbs to the truck load and then I'm even closer to the max payload."
