Boss ---
Another quick note. If you are going to do it make sure the safety chains are not hooked to the bumper so if you do break the welds on the bumper the safety chains will keep the trailer at least attached to the TT and not running free down the highway.

Interesting product, BUT is only addresses a small part of the problem. It does not address the frame of the trailer. For me trying to find a solution to adding significant weight to the bumper of most TT is like trying to find the fountain of youth. Lots of Ideas but not attainable.

I will explain the same way it was explained to me. The boat hitch that Lippert makes to install on their frames that they manufacture mount just aft of center line of were a rear kitchen RV would sit. A rear kitchen can weight upwards of 2000 lbs ready to go camping sitting in the rear of 5er just above where the hitch mounts will put more stress on the frame than receiver with few hundred pounds of tongue weight. Not all RV can handle the weight but if have even been to a Bass Tournaments you would see lots of 5er towing bass boats that are putting 10,000 to 20,000 per year on 5er...

I guess if I was the OP it would come down to do if I believe bunch of guys on internet forum for there knowledge and engineering expertise and the knowledge of Lippert frame stress testing and design of the frame.
OR
Would I give Lippert Manufacturing a call and ask for advice since they are the ones that designed; manufacture and stress tested the frames. They also make the hitches receivers to install on their frames that it won’t cause frame damage nor void the warranty if installed by authorized dealer?

If it was me I won't tow with the OP current setup but that's me.

Oh yes I agree Turbs. The whole back end of the frame being left behind with the trailer might hurt someone.
