Had a p3 on my last TV. Read the manual, don't recall the hold feature, sorry. I've read lots of manuals in my time - i read them all - but don't recall every bit of every one.
Usually just the features I need to know - setup and adjustment in the case of the prodigy.
I read the manual on my reese hitch, set it up and it's good to go - the contents of the manual are flushed from my brain for the most part - I can look it up if I have a need for detailed info.

On my subaru the manual for the infotainment system is thicker than for the rest of the vehicle. Still haven't read all of it - I got my phone bluetoothed to the car and can dial by number, haven't set up names in the car's phonebook, a 'feature' I still want to setup.
