Hes concerned about long term maintenance on a diesel, but not on his hybrid, that is very costly to maintain long term.

Dodges 6.7 is the only current diesel engine that ive heard of that had some turbo problems, and they may have that fixed now.
I think he meant HYBRID camper (the ones where the beds fold out), not a hybrid vehicle. He is pulling is Hybrid camper with his Ecoboost F150.

I was just inquiring bc an F350 for use towing and daily driver I just can't afford to spend the money and have it in the shop costing me a lot. I backed off looking at them for now since my F150 does a good job with the Roo, eventually I may go to Diesel and I like the Fords over all others, but listened to someone complain about them and it sort of got me thinking, I appreciate the input but sticking with my EB love this truck.

My 6.0 does the very best at about 67 mph I have found if I keep the RPM below 2K I get very good milage. On the trip back from spokane to Weiser pulling the new TT at 61 MPH I got 16 mph. I felt good about that.

Just sucks that they had some BS reason to raise fuel prices, one reason I held off on buying a Ford F-350 PS 6.7

I just finished a 2500 mile trip from Kansas to Tucson AZ and back. I'm towing a 39.5 foot full profile (13.5 high) 14,200lbs 5er with the truck below. I got 7.4 on one tank going into a 30 to 35 mph head wind and as high as 12.4 on calm day in Kansas. Over the complete 2500 miles I average was 10.4 mpg just figuring towing miles. We keep the speed at or below 63mph.

That's better than my F150 ecoboost towing a 7300 lb trailer. My F350 beats my EB F150 in city, highway, and loaded towing fuel economy.

I have, makes me want more than my EB but best price I can get on a 2016 is mid $50's and still not in my reach, I can't justify the payments. I looked at F350 even Dodge Diesel since you can lease them just not interested in a mortgage payment for a truck.

I am thinking about a 2013 F350 Platinum which has 80K but clean, also price is better just not sure about used Diesel.

Anyone heard of a dealer adding in a second Turbo to a Power Stroke Diesel? Some old guy today told me he bought a 2016 F350 and dealer installed a 2nd Turbo and his truck had three batteries with something like 750 HBP? I think he was kidding but who knows
