Isuzu NPR/Mitsubishi-Fuso box trucks
Do these trucks have any potential as camper tow vehicles? Most of them come with dual rear tires, a decent wheelbase, a relatively modern cab, hydraulic brakes, and a 200-210hp 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine. It seems like there's an abundance of trucks like this that come off lease or fleet duty, and they're way more affordable than a 3500/4500 dually pickup. Seems like you remove the box, add your 5th wheel hitch of choice and whatever kind of bed/deck you can think up, and hit the road. Thoughts?
Yes, I'm an "outside the box" thinker.
