Jack Capacity

Is a 1.5 ton floor jack enough to lift my 4000 lb trailer to change a tire?

I was going to buy a 2 ton floor jack but my neighbor had a new 1.5 Ton still in the box he would sell me for $25.00. It is one of those aluminum Harbor Freight floor jacks. It has good reviews and it only weighs 32 Lbs.

Thanks

That jack would do the job just fine. Mine works great and used it many times.

1.5 Ton = 3,000lbs. You should have no trouble changing a tire on a 4,000lbs trailer.

Good for a trailer, but don't try to lift a Diesel with it.
