Had a '04 JGC with the 4.7 HO engine. Towed our '08 Rockwood Roo 23SS for several years. Yes, I did install airbags, but I also had a 10K Equal-I-Zer WDH. I couldn't have towed a heavier trailer, and I also wouldn't have wanted a smaller TV. I could do about 55mph @ 4300rpm in our "mountains" here in Western MD and that's all I would push it for. Towed the Roo down to Myrtle Beach a couple of times with no problems. When we moved up to a Flagstaff 27BESS, I got a Nissan Armada and the difference in towing that trailer to the JGC/Roo was night and day. I never knew it could be such a pleasure and stress free until then.
BTW, our son bought the JGC when we got the Armada.... he still has it, runs like a top and only has about 93K on it.
