Jeep Wrangler Toad Help?

Just ordered a Jeep Wrangler 2dr and will be setting up to flat tow behind my Forester Class C. Have a Blue Ox bar already.

Appreciate suggestions for lights & Wiring. Do you use the Jeep lights? Do the diode wiring setups work? Easy to install? Is it possible to have the sidelights on while towing?

TIA

I'll try to remember and dig out the info on our light wiring. It just basically was plug&play in-line. Whatever lights up with the lights on IN BACK is how mine works, along with brake lights.

I just did this to my Jeep. I used the Hopkins wiring kit which is a super easy plug and play. I also added a Roadmaster charge line kit to keep the Jeep battery charged while towing. There are some good YT videos installing this kit. Just search the terms 'Hopkins RV jeep tow wiring' and several good how-to videos pop up.

For our car, I used a Hopkins kit. Easy enough for anyone who is comfortable with a screwdriver. For our Jeep (02 TJ), I added in a pair of trailer disconnects as the wires pass by the driver's seat, and plug in there when towing. I had all the ends in hand, so it was $0 in new purchases.

For the sides, I don't worry too much, as the MH rears are visible from the side (replaced stock lights with a less flush bright LED set), and I added some discreet 3m reflective tape to the front sides of each vehicle. Also added reflective tape to the rears, just in case the lights were to fail.
