Just bought my new TV!

I just bought my new tow vehicle. 2011 Ford f350 Lariat with the new 6.7l diesel. I have a 2011 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8317 RKSS that I pulled last year with my 2004 2500 Dodge Ram 2500. It pulled this trailer with ease. I am looking forward to using the new Ford. Does anyone else have one and what do you think of them.

That's the new Ford design and build diesel; a switch for Ford from the Navistar. Ford has been on a roll lately. My bet is that the engine has been thoroughly tested. It will be interesting to see what your fuel mileage will be. Good choice. Have fun. Post back your impressions and results.

Congrats Rigger on the new tow rig. We just bought a 2011 F350 diesel, dually , long bed 4 weeks ago. We will be towing our 2010 Salem 29FKDS as soon as spring gets here. We had a 2007 Expedition EL...and it did pull ok...but we were overweight so we stepped up and got us a REAL tow rig. So far we really like the the truck and can not wait till spring.

Saw the dvd on the new Ford diesel and tranny. Really sounds like a nice rig. Enjoy!! Been hearing they get amazing mileage. I'm sitting it out for a while with a new Tundra Crewmax 5.7L pulling a 24ft Flagstaff V-nose w/ rear slide. In 5 or 6 years maybe be ready to move up to the 3/4 ton Ford and a 5th wheel. Figure if Ford has got any bugs to work out w/ the new product they should have them worked out by then.
