not many options, roof rack on the truck but if you a talking the large kayaks then a front hitch and a support T for the kayaks to rest on.

I carry a 11.5' kayak inside the camper on it's side in front of the table and couch in the slide. I've also heard of people carrying them on top of the bed if they're the smaller ones. Got to clean them clean and free of critters though.

I have been investigating the same question for my 18' canoe.

My conclusion is a single roof rack at the rear of the cab and a Yakima Drydock (p.n. 02589) in a front mounted receiver.

You might also want to look at the Hullyrollers (#04035) or the Boatloader (#04018) Either of these will make it easier to load your boats.

I just purchased 2 SOT kayaks for me and the DD; I am just going to put them into the TT to carry. I will make sure to keep them covered up with a tarp when not in use at the site because like Dave/ Monica said, it will be a PITA to clean them off enough to put in the TT.

You should look at the inflatable kayaks they have out there!! Easy to transport, they fold up into little cases and are really cool!!
Prices range from $200-> 2k+ for them and they look awesome. Easy to inflate and made from 'space-age' materials that very hard to damage.
If you have ever watched Whale Wars, then you can attest to the durability of inflatable boats!!
I would have gotten an inflatable, but I could not resist the price of the SOTs that I bought.

Inflatables are nice and easy to transport, but that is all that they have going for them. The sleek, refined shapes found on fast, easy paddling boats just can not be reproduced in an inflatable boat.
