In theory yes.
But your payload is based off more than physical weight such as.

Brake capacity is still the same
Actual axle weight rating is the same
Trans / engine tires still same for listed payload.

Airbags do not increase your payload rating. Sorry. How many people (how much weight) will be inside the truck? You may be OK if you load most of your gear in the trailer.

the problem is i love the trailer, but i don't want to buy a trailer my truck may have troubles with, ie the trailer swaying, so if it comes down to it, i would just find another trailer

Sway can be negated with an hensley or propride. And bags will let u ride level.

At the end of the day the prob is that you are maxing out the truck or coming close.

Can you make it work? Absolutely. Your truck is gonna have to work a little. If your looking at little flat 100mile trips, it may be a non issue...

3 adults , a dog, and a loaded trailer for 1000 miles?....i would not want to pull that trip with any 1/2 ton..... near capacity or not....
